Without several beautiful light sources in your space, it will most definitely feel lifeless and dull, sort of like the sunshine is missing from your garden! I’m seriously not kidding! This is probably the single most important thing that needs to be addressed when you are decorating a space! Lighting is a practical matter of course, because of the need for task lighting, but it also needs to be looked at from another perspective, and that would be beauty!
Lamps are a way for us to express our artistic loves and favorite shapes, along with pairing just the right lamp shade to set off the lamp itself to perfection! Never assume that the lamp you have purchased has already come with the ideal lamp shade. Very often the shade needs to be changed or the fabric isn’t right! Take your lamp from ordinary to extraordinary by customizing it with a handmade lamp shade, using fabric you have personally selected!
Choose your lamp carefully, especially when your space is limited. Think about making a statement, don’t be shy! Don’t let this be a lost opportunity, lamps really should be looked at as pieces of sculpture! Art forms, that are unique and special in your space!
